What time does your event run?

9AM is my game start time.

This 'con has great food (most home made and GOOD). A very small 'con but fun. The pastor of the church is a gamer.

FYI: Last year the 'con made the church a few hundred bucks, I hope people will show up and make it a bigger success.

Well, I was able to attend and play in Barton's event. Five people played - myself, another veteran of Barton's other Pulp campaign, and three newbies (although one had played Champions way back).

Due to family committments, I had to leave at 1:00 pm right in the middle of the big fight :( but had fun for the time I spent. Two of the newbies were a married(?) couple and they were enjoying themselves immensely throughout.

The con was held in the basement of the church and it looked like there was a pretty good turnout. I would have liked to have stayed longer, both to have concluded Barton's game and to have played in other offerings.

Maybe Barton will give a recap.

If my daughter and I were in IL instead of ID, we probably would have attended. :(

This is a great idea for getting the next generation into roleplaying.

Wish I could have made it, but we playtested one of my games at that time. Barton's Teen Hero games are always full of families and they go real well :).

Sorry for the lateness of this post, real life can get in the way.
The Teen heroes after much fighting defeated the supervillians in the danger room's control area. The adults and children worked together well.
Two of the newbies (they were a charming married couple were the winners (I am sending them a copy of Sidekick).

I got great comments after the game. I think the players liked playing both the teenagers and parents in this game. It was a playtest for my Origins and GenCon games. A few little changes and it should be great!!!

Thanks to all that played in the game.

PS: the convention was considered a success it raised a few hundred dollars and every one had fun.
