Afternoon,

Looking to create a character with some prety hefty damage saoking abilities, but only against certain elements I ran into a problem. It is one of a lack of experience.

The campaign has four primary energy atacks: fire, ice, electricity, and magic (prime). Everything else (acid, holy/unholy bolts) plays a bit part.,

If I wanted a character with damage reduction or armor, but only against one of those energy elements, how much would that run for a lim? -1/2 or -1?

I've seen examples of both, I think. I'd just like to be given an opinion so I can be more decicive.

What about the same defense but against two ore three of the elements?

Thanks!

If the four "big" attacks are all equally common, then a defense that only protects against one would only help you 25% of the time.

I would call that a -1.
