Bob Bledsaw, one of the founders of Judges Guild, passed away sunday at home,

Judges Guild was the first company licensed to produce D&D products, and Necromancer Games is still producing some of their best products

these were my favorites
City State of the Inviincible Overlord
Dark Tower
Tegel Manor

First Gary Gygax, now Bob Bledsaw, its been a dark year for fantasy gaming already

Don't know the name, but from the background you've posted it is indeed a dark time for Fantasy Gaming.

RIP

City State of the Inviincible Overlord

Goofy but lovable. For that alone, RIP Bob Bledsaw.

A sad time indeed. I was just wondering if its still possible to get The City State of the Invincibel Overlord, then this.

I shall make it a quest in his honor.

CSotIO is worth it just for the city map. I still love it.

not sure how findable the original JG version is, but I have the boxed Mayfair version, and Necromancer came out with a hardback version in the last couple of years.

I owned CITY STATE...and is that the DARK TOWER that had the awesoem battery-powered tower n the center of the gameboard? THat game was completely awesome. I would love to pick on up, but they fetch a hefty fee on EBay.

I added this info in the Gary Gygax commeration threads elsewhere as I was not sure who here might know him or of him.

I met him a few years back. Nice guy.

OK. Still...CITY STATE was a giant undertaking and it was a cool seting.
