A Dippy Request

I really like the images of the various iconic Champs characters that decorate the left-hand panel of the site. But oftentimes I'm /really/ curious who the heck they are -- I recognize the current one, Armadillo, but there are plenty of others I don't recognize. Would it be possible to get a caption or a mouseover to identify the pictures?

As the subject line says, it's a dippy request, but I personally would love it.

They're all readily identifiable out of the books, primarily Champions, CU, CKC, and TE.
