Here's another peek at one of Cryptic's planned locations:

What, really? Not that it's exactly obscure, but it's good to see that they're pulling from all the books.

Of course it's obscure. Viper couldn't very well make Disney World into their secret base, could they? What with all the Travel Channel film crews and stuff...

Well, they take what appeals to them (for whatever reason) and run with it. Monster Island, for example, is three paragraphs in CU and has never really been touched on since, but it appealed to them... and soon we'll have a whole book out on it. ;)

Maybe someone at Cryptic is a big fan of robot cowboys. ;) Or perhaps, wanting a desert sort of area for Stronghold, they looked for other things that would go well near there.

To be fair, we did get two substantial articles about MI in Digital Hero. I know that's not official, and of course the book will have much more on MI and probably bear little resemblance to proditor's vision. Still, several Cryptic designers are reputedly Champions fans, so maybe someone there is a DH reader too and had his imagination sparked.

Yeah, I should have said, "Looking at all the books for inspiration", but you get the idea.

Too true, too true.

It needs to have a Roman theme park next door.
