Updates for Linux?

I bought the CD and got the Linux version of HD 1.0 to install (yay!). I do have two questions, though.

1. Has 1.0 for Linux (as opposed to Windows) been updated, and where can i get the update?

2. Will 2.0 be availabel to Linux users, and will existing files be supproted?

It's the same update, follow a similar procedure to the windows update

In response to (2), yes, v2 of Hero Designer will run on Linux.

v2 will be able to read v1 files. To a somewhat limited extent, the reverse will also be true (there will be some funkiness with templates, but they should be surmountable).
