Charges question

Pardon if this is really dumb. I've just bought HD, so I'm getting the hang of it:

I've got an EC of Telekinetic powers, including a Force Field.

On the FF, which is bought to 0 END, I want a limited power advantage of Area Effect, which can only be used 4 times for 1 turn each, and can't be used at range.

I'm using a Compound Power, with the FF at 0 END, plus a Naked Modifier with AE, and a Power Limitation assigned to no range. The Max Base Cost is set to the cost of the FF. When I add the Modifier "Charges", I get the adders "1 Clips", "Boostable", "Recoverable", "Increased Recovery" and "Charges Never Recover", but nothing for Continuing Charges.

What am I doing wrong, and is there a more proper way to stat this with HD?

Buy the Continuous Advantage for your Naked Modifier. You can't have Continuing Charges without having a Continuous power.

Once you have the Continuous Advantage, then you will see the option for Continuing Charges.

Ah, or better select "Constant" from the Duration drop down on the Naked Modifier panel, and then it shows up properly.
