I'm trying to make a character that fires lasers, and absorbs light to charge an END reserve, and I got a few questions.

the absorb is going to take in lasers, light based flashes. Is that covered by limited phenonon -1/2?

The REC is going to have limited recovery "Bright lights" sun, camera flash, ect. With dim lights (maybe) giving 1/2 rec. what is this limited rec worth?

If he fires a 10D6 energy blast that costs 5 END. Can he bounce it back so he can reabsorb it and get back more END that it cost to fire it? :sneaky:

By my understanding, yes. However, given that many ED based attacks have a bright light associated with them (lightning, particle beams, fire, etc.) you might want to consider a lesser (even a -0, perhaps) limitation 'doesn't absorb powers that don't at least glow' or some such.;)

-1 to -1/2, depending on how much of your activity goes down at night or in unlit buildings. I'd go with the -1/2, it gives the GM a bit less room to screw with you.

By the letter of the rules, yes. Do it too often and the GM is going to get annoyed.

I am the GM. Well... going to be. I'm making a few starter characters, mostly based on the comics I've read (mostly X-Men related). In this case Dazzler, but she absorbs light instead of sound. I won't tell the player and let him or her figure it out on thier own.
thanks for the advice :)

nice spelling.
Hey, you got to start somewhere. I've done a LOT of D&D 2nd and 3rd. I can't find a Hero group, so I'll have to start my own.
