At this point, I think I have about 10 friends coming down to share a couple of rooms.

I hope Steve can make it so we can do Hero Lunch again. IT was a BLAST!!!!!!

Since I am NOT working the con this year, Thag will do much gaming. I hope to play some and Demo for Hero.

I am new to the site, but an avid fan and Con goer. If any games are being run, I would love a chance to get to know the system, and palyers better.

As for the Court of Bedlam, I am a full Court member, Knighted by the King himself while in Jacksonville, So everyone is indeed invited. All bow to the Beagle.

I am for sure running a couple of games in open gaming, but I just wanted at some point just to see of any of the posters here are attending and want to meet.

12:30 on Saturday? Sounds good. I'll be flying into Atlanta Thursday night and get there around 7:20 PM -- just in time for the Green Room to open. :) We can meet the same place we did last year.

Unfortunately, Steve's not going to be able to make it due to previous commitments the weekend before, but we can still have a Hero Lunch anyway if everyone's up to it.

Last year we met in the lobby of the Hyatt and it worked well so that's where I suggest we meet again this year. We can just talk HERO and have a good time.

I will be attending Dragon*Con and Starsong 2002 will be going with me, along with one of our other friends, Jeremy. None of us have ever been before, not to Dragon*Con or even to the east coast, so any advice and helpful tips are very greatly appriciated.

Will there be Champions at this years con? There are no Champions game listings in the gamers section on the web. If so, what edition? We all play 4th. What kinds/ point levels of characters should we bring, or are all characters supplied? I've never gamed at a con before. Starsong 2002 has, even GM'd a few sessions, but that was before I knew him.

You guys are all talking about a gamers' lunch. Where and when will that be? Where do we meet, and where do we eat? : ) ::Grin:: This si going to be great!

Hey, are any of you guys also partcipating in any of the costume contests? It might be fun to see some favorite heroes in the mascarade costume contest! : ) Starsong and I will be in the Dawn look-a-like contest, and I will also enter the mascarade contest. Hope to see you all there!

I am going to try to run some non super hero Hero games at Dragon Con, but at the open tables. I didnt want to get involved in DCs ticket games, and Steve Long has stated in the past that He prefers Hero GM to volenter running games and not be involved in games that require money.

I should have flyer at the gaming area at the Hyatt for the couple of games I will run.

As for the Hero Lunch I belive the consensus is still to meet Sat After noon at the Hyatt main lobby at 12:30. I think the idea is to go over to the food court and gather tables and let the Hero fans pick where ever they want to eat and Then gather at the tables. I have my kids help me set up. (kids being of late HIgh school age.)

Ill be the overweight guy in the lobby with a black shirt and a goatie beard. That should be east to pick out.


just kidding, Ill have my wizard cap and a Hero games sign made.

Any Hero fan should plese come to eat with us. And perhaps a pickup game could be set up there later...

Gwena Kitten, I am very much looking forward to seeing your Dawn outfit. I might be taking pictures for the con at the Dawn event. Well be one of the guys taking pictures for the convention.

Not entering the costume contest this year but plan to next year.

Went to Dragon*Con last year (my first time) and had a blast! I'm originally from the east coast (Connecticut) so it's nice to be able to get back there every once in awhile.

Be prepared for a flurry of non-stop activity and loads of interesting costumes. I plan on attending as many panels as I can. Maybe get in a game, but I don't know. I tend not to like convention games since I don't really have an opportunity to get into charater, but sometimes it can be fun.

We're meeting Saturday at 12:30 PM at the lobby of the Hyatt Regency. From there we head to the Food Court, get tables together, people grab whatever they want to eat, and we sit down and chat.

::Snaps head back onto shoulders:: Ok - *Saturday at 12:30* : ) Is the loby near the foodcourt? I have not been to this hotel before.

You can reconize be on Saturday because I'll be in a Dawn costume. Wait, so will many other girls, and a few guys. Ok, for Saturday afternoon I will be in jeans and a skull leotard, green gloves, rose and chain. I have very long hair - which will be red for the contest, and I'm 5'11", plus extra in my boots, so that should stand out. : ) I have another Dawn costume for later that night, but I'm keeping it a secret until just before the contest. ::grin:: I'm looking forward to Dragon*con sooooooo much!

Hyatt Lobby is very close to the food court.

Maybe a five minute walk at MOST.

Just to make sure I understand the lobby as the level where the Hotel registration desk is and where the double revolving door entrance is. The lobby has a white tile floor.

If Jemster or some one has a better discription PLEASE sound out.

The group should be easy to find. I am betting I can spot a Dawn lookalike searching for a group Sat Afternoon.

I just wanted to say that both me and my friend are going to be coming to CON. This is my 3rd and this is 4th consecutive time going. We have both been playing Champions for a long time and we would like to meet some other players since we dont have a big amount from my hometown in Savannah, GA. If anyone would like to just say hey or something feel free to drop a line to me, I would like a chance to get in on a game in the open gaming area if someone is going to be running. Hope to see some of you there
