Like it says. Who does your super-spy most resemble.

Explain.

Lucius

None of the above. My last character who could be called a superspy was half-Japanese, and was sometimes compared to Mr. Moto. If I were casting an actor to play him, I might pick Pat Morita.

Unless I'm mistaken, all of your choices are European or Euro-American and I notice all but one seem to be male. How about including Bill Cosby, who played secret agent Alexander Scott in the series I, Spy?

Lucius Alexander

The palindromedary notes that Lucius' last superspy before THAT one was Chastity Burns, and obvious Modesty Blaize ripoff....

Yes, I was limited by who I could think about at the time, which is why I listed all the James Bond actors, plus the actors that played Steed and Emma Peel in the Avengers. Oh, and the other idiot.

Because.

Alternate suggestions are welcome, so we can do this properly. After all, Bond actors can be usefully divided into: Sean Connery/Daniel Craig and Roger Moore/all the other pretty boys.

Steed and Peel are a whole other set of categories.

I will have to insist on movie actors only.

Sorry, I just realised that you could have female super-spies that aren't Emma Peel.

Yes, that's true, but why would you bother?

I forgot. She could be in disguise.

Considering my character in Champions *is* in fact a temporally-displaced James Bond (sort of like Austin Powers, just not for laughs - East German particle accelerator accident, anyone?)...

I went for Daniel Craig because he's actually read Ian Fleming for a few cues to his character, and thus is the closest to mine, who is a ball of sheer willpower who ends up in the sickbay once every other adventure.

I wouldn't begrudge anyone for picking anybody else, though - not even Roger Moore, who was excellent in the original "Saint" series, and is a genuinely nice guy even if he was a bit wimpy as Bond. He was just a little four-color for me is all. Not an insult, merely an observation.

Patrick McGoohan.

Well I guess I gotta vote for Rigg, cause she's the only female on the list.

Actually, my character looks like Nicki Cox, but with some muscles.

I only played one "super spy" character ever. He got killed at the end of the first session of that particular game. I didn't have time to form a solid impression of his appearance, but I based him more on the US super spies (namely Jason Bourne and Michael Weston) than the super sophisticated Bond.

I think physically he would have resembled Dexter Morgan as played by Michael C. Hall on the Showtime series.

Point taken.

And there's at least one other female option I should have included too. ;)

Patrick McGoohan.

Yes. Someone else who should have been included.

Consolidating the Bond actors would allow the inclusion of McGoohan, Maxwell Smart and 99.

Or I could do a separate poll for females spies, and diversify the group. Or even have separate US and British categories.

Or I could just not bother.

Daniel Craig, of course; because he looks resembles Kiefer Sutherland. The wanted James to look a lot like Jack as Jack's bad@$$ery must be paid homage!

Matt Damon - Bourne.
Kiefer Southerland - Bauer.

I'd have picked either one of them. I went with Daniel Craig instead.

I picked the aussie...he was a very good Bond for me, and his relations were a little more beleivable as well...
