Caught some Family Guy and as always Adam West's character cracked me up. It kept bugging me so I wrote this up.

Looks like there are more than eight cats in that bag.

It should also be a Flash, or a Suppress DEX (while fighting off teh kitteh).

I think the Dex Suppress works better than the flash since the face shot was just luck and the pizza boy still managed to run away. Do you think it would work better as Dex Suppress with a Linked Killing attack or as a compound power?

I'd make it an EB maybe with Penetrating (enough to dice to get a pip or two of Body on Normal occasionally) It didn't seem "lethal" just really painful. :) Might be Uncontrolled too with the condition to stop the attack "fighting off the cat" however you choose to define that (or just make them continuing charges with a fairly short duration for simplicity).

I like the suppress DEX but I'm thinking that Entaglement might be a better way to go. The kitten won't kill him, but he'll be going nowhere while he tries to get it off his face.

Our man Mr. West was forced to give chase to the disobedient delivery man so I don't think Entangle works.

Ahh, didn't see the cartoon. Sounds like artistic license to me. I'd have expected the deliveryman to be rolling around on the porch screaming something like "Yarrrgetimoffamegawddamcatarrghjeezow!" or something similar while small amounts of blood and flesh flecked Mr.Wests palatial residence.

Obviously not a Dark Champions Cat Launcher, which would probably use something more sabretoothed.

Really, that was a terrible pun. Truly Horrible. And for having the cajones to make it, you get rep.

Isn't a Continuous Killing Attack a little lethal compared to how it appeared to be? Don't normal people just have around 8 Body? I realize this isn't a totally serious write up but I was curious.

Originally I set it up as a Killing Attack since they are claws and that tends to be Killing Damage from what I've seen. I did move it down from 1d5-1 to .5d6 I just didn't want to do 1 pip. As to comparing it the source martial he is a pizza boy that means he has to have a Body and Ego of at least 18 to deal with the fact that well he's a pizza boy. No office to anyone following in Phillip J Fry's footsteps. :drink:
Forgive me for the cross show references.
As is, I wouldn't expect it do much in a Super heroic campaign. Although, I could see someone like Foxbat (I don't think Foxbat ever uses killing attacks) accidentally hospitalizes Seeker.

I'd like to see a right up that actually fires cats, like cat NPCs as listed in the Bestiary. Maybe with the optional Rapidfire on the cats' 1pip claw attacks...

Telekinesis, Physical Manifestation. That allows for the grab (reducing CV), the squeeze (cat scratch damage), and the manifestation may possibly allow for blocked sight. Either that, or borrow the Opaque Adder from Entangle.

Couldn't the hit to the face just be a lucky hit location and based on the sfx of the attack? It didn't really seem to do much.

Hmmm...if it had a few more barrels, it'd make a halfway decent catling gun.

You try being in a situation where a cat's actually in a position to sink its
claws in your noggin. Trust me, you'll change your mind PDQ about just
how much damage a cat's claws can do to it.

Now, upscale the sucker, vehicle mount it and you've got a sabre toothed cat launcher for those occasions when you absolutely, positively HAVE to clear the room.
See West here has basically a side arm, not intended to stop serious oppposition.

theres a really fun series of graphic novels by Mark Rogers called "Samurai Cat" and in one of the books is a story called "Christmas Eve Berlin 1944" where Samurai Cat and his son have to infiitrate the SS dinosaur stronghold in berlin with the assistance of Santa who works for the OSS. theres a picture of a "Tiger' tank, with paw shaped tracks among other things
the books are great fun.... a series of illustrated short stories such as
The Empire State Strikes Back
A Fighting Cat of Mars
A Samurai Cat in King Arthurs Court
The Bridge at Katzad Dum
the books are well worth a look if you can find them, they are on amazon at least too
