I would like to start a hero campaign soon. I would be running it. I have some ideas for a fantasy campaign based on Chinese and Polynesian history/mythology, however I am still very much open to player input. I'd also be willing to run other genres. Champions and Star Hero would be nice. I live smack downtown, easily accessible by Tri-Met. Also, I will provide all gaming materials and will teach any enthusiastic novices.

I am interested in joining a local (portland oregon) Hero group, have many 4th and 5th ed books, and am familiar with the system. Do you have any openings, or know of any groups with openings?

I would be interested too, especially if there's soft drinks in it for me.

There is a meet site for Portland gamers at PDX-gamers@yahoogroups.com.
I'll be running a single session game this month set in the city of Elweir from the Valdorian Age Hero supplement. I'm going to use the investigation/interrogation dynamic from the TV show NYPD Blue in conjunction with the swords and sorcery millieu. I'm likely to need one player. I'll post an update on that within a week.

I have been looking for a rpg group. It has been a long time since I rpged.
If you are still looking for players to rpg, I would greatly interested. Let me know where and when you are playing and what kind of rpging you would be playing.
Hope to hear from you soon.

The only thing stopping me from starting a campaign is that I lack a place to play -- my apartment is much too small, cramped and lacking in suitable furniture for the task.
All I need from a host is a room large enough to hold however many players I am likely to get that is Tri-Met accessible. willingness to assist me in providing snacks, drinks, and a meal (for evening games) would be a plus.

:DI may be able to get my boyfriend to start up a D&D game. He does have the 1st and 2nd edition books.
It is good to hear from you, Michael Hopcroft. I am glad your rpg book is selling good. If you are wondering who this is, it is Julia Fisher. I hope life is treating you fair. Hope to hear from you soon.
