The Follow up, in reverse order

3. No surprise, I'd talked it over in chat and agreed that was the fair and reasonable answer...so if a character has Multiform and Resurrection, better get the Resurrection for all forms unless that risk of permanent death fits the character conception better.

2. Once again I've troubled you with a question when I see now I should have read the book more carefully. The answer was at least implicit in the rules. Sorry!

1. And the real reason I'm posting a follow up - What if I want a player character with a Mechanonical ability to return, phoenix-like, after the destruction of its physical form?

"Stee Vosten. Astral Voyager. An Elf barely alive. We can rebuild him. We have the thaumaturgy. We can make him better than he was. Better. Faster. Stronger."

Okay, the character I'm currently working on is a robot and the conception is something like a "Good Mechanon" (such as was mentioned in Champions in 3D) but I think the idea may have other applications as well. Am I right that Resurrection would be the obvious and correct way to build such an ability?

That's a "how to" question, so I'd suggest posting it on the Discussion board. If I were to build such an ability I would almost certainly use Resurrection in some way, but ask Herodom Assembled and you'll likely get a bunch of useful answers. ;)
