Newbie help please!

Hi!

I have just started to use Hero Designer and I was trying to build some of the things from FREd to learn how the program worked. So far it has been a positive experience. But now I am stuck. I am trying to make Arkelos GIFT OF FLIGHT SPELL from page 177.

How do I make it in Hero Designer? I can’t find any way to separate the casting of the spell from the targets use of the granted power of flight, as described under Differing Modifiers.

You'll need to use the Custom Power ability.

Set the cost of the Custom Power to 13 (the cost of the Flight being granted). You can include the details of what Power is granted either in the "display" field or in the notes for the Power.

Apply the UOO, Gestures, Incantations, and RSR modifiers to the Custom Power.
