Fantasy Hero Game in Mesa AZ

Exsisting game looking for a 1-3 new members to join our 4+GM group. We're all experianced gammers and are looking for mature (not saying older, just that @ times we can getting into a bit more 'serious' situations) players to join our Fantasy Hero game. We're a group of friends as well as a gamming group, and enjoy haning out, seeing movings etc... in a nutshell we really enjoy each other's company, and have been a group for the past 6 yrs. But we would welcome new additions

I've been Playing (GMing) Hero since the beginning back in 81-82, so I can be a bit of a Hero snob <shrug>

We game every Wed evning & every other Saturday

Hey there Wildcat, how you been? I just left the Tempe Area, that sucks. I live across town now in Laveen. I've got my wife, one of my buddies from the Army (I got out a while ago), and I are getting a two (er two plus GM) person Champions game together (I've been Fantasy'ed out lately- Too much D&D 3rd and 4th).

Us three would probably have been happy to join your group (if you'd have had us); but to be honest, it's just too far, considering all we have on our plate (newborn, school, work, one of us living in the northwest valley, etc.).

Enjoy, and at some point, I'd still like to get together with some folks with Hero Experience and play. I've only ever been run in Hero once, and that was the guy who brought me to the system over 15 years ago. Most everyone else I've even run it for tend to not read the books, so it's usually me making characters, and then them playing what I've developed for them (an ok system that let's me gauge the power of what's being done, but unrewarding as far as what builds a different mind can come up with), and no one likes to read the rules...

But in any case it's good to see you on the boards again, and I hope to be able to get together at some point... It just occurred to me that you may not remember that we've talked before, if so, then...um, hey there.

I am in Scottsdale and would also be interested in joining in. I am a little rusty because I haven't played in a while, job, wife, kids, etc.--all the usual grown-up excuses. If you have room for one more, please let me know.

I'll talk to my people (really just my wife and a friend from the 82nd when I was minus a few lbs...). But, yah, I'll ask them. Scottsdale to Laveen is a heck of a hall though, even once a week, and even at these prices (fuel I mean). I got to say I'm a bit nervous, I've never really had someone who hasn't been introduced to Hero by me under my GM screen... once I get a positive reaction from them, we'll have to find a neutral location and meet face to face (the 4 of us) to see if we mesh well on a personal level, then we'll see how it goes from there, sound good?
