Just wanted to say that I'm very impressed with the new features that Dan is implementing.
I'll definately be looking forward to trying it out before I buy it. If the delay issues have been resolved, I'll see this product definately worth the price.
Dan appears to be implementing the main thing I want. Control. (8^D)
Excellent work Dan. Hazzah!

Thanks! ;)
Just so hopes don't get too high, v2 is not a panacea.
I am doing what I can to build in more flexibility, but there are still somethings which are "hard coded". Far less than currently, but they're still there.
The new campaign rules functionality will allow for many of these areas to be circumvented as needed (turning rules on and off)...and I can always add into the campaign rules as we move forward if there is significant demand for a particular rule to be modifiable.
The main thing that I'm excited about in v2 is the increased "intelligence". The new functionality for Enhanced Senses and Sense Affecting Powers, for example. The app is getting smarter as it grows....a happy thing.
I'm currently working with the testers on bringing the output as close to the WG as we can....hopefully close enough that folks will be able to submit characters for publication straight from HD without any changes.
Anyway, thanks for the good word!

An rtf version of the 5th edition character sheet would be nice as well - of course a visual object editor for character sheet layout would be really spiffy... but I still really like HD v1. Looking forward to v2.
