Succor Timing Question

How long does Succor last?
Does the effect end IMMEDIATELY, or does it expire at the end of the last phase END was paid.

Succor lasts as long as Endurance is being paid - it is a Constant Power and follows all rules for Constant Powers normally.
Which is to say - Endurance is paid at the start of every Phase, if you don't pay Endurance it ends then and there immediately.

OK, here is the root of it,

I am converting a hero to 5er and the character possesses a kinetic boosting ability to enhance the velocities of objects he touches. FOREX, one of his powers involves accelerating a knife as he throws it. Each individual "charging" of the attack is supposed to be an instant power. Succor seems to fit the bill, except that the wording states that the effect ends instantly.

So the question it what effect does Succor have on Instant Powers? Does it indeed provide that 1 phase boost?

Yes, if you pay the Succor END the Phase the Instant Power is used it affects it the Instant Power that Phase.
