Wounding Rules

I'm beginning a Heroic level Pulp game soon, and I'm trying to decide if I want to use the Wounding rules. Anyone have any experience and comments they would like to share about this particular rule?

In our Justice Inc. game we only use them for dramatic effect, not all the time. PC gets shot with a really big or unusual gun, or its a low level NPC thug type, then we'll use them.
