Some time ago I remember seeing stuff posted on converting the Alien Legion comics to Hero... Of course I can't find it anymore. Can anyone help me out with this?

Thanks.

Sweet. I loved Alien Legion and I'd love to see what people have done.

It could have been mine. I did some guidelines for 4th Edition way back when. Shameless plug, but go here:

http://www.foot-sloggers.com/

Its my fan site, blessed by Carl Potts himself. There is some talk of RPG in the works, but I can't talk about it, nor can I post my 4th Ed. stuff on that site. Once I get my B5 stuff done, I plan on revisiting my old stuff and update it for 5th. Anyone interested in seeing it, email me off list.

Hi Gents: I did a version too way back in 93. I actually ran it for almost a year! My players loved it. It can be found at the file downloads page of my site. Here is a direct link (http://la.znet.com/~the_lair/file_downloads.htm) to that page.

Edd Ghent converted some of the Alien Legion races for his Nemesis Squadron campaign. (They are in the document you need to email him for). I don't know if he is still responding to emails but here is the forum link anyhow http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34853

For those of you wondering where I've been in months, yes, its true, I do in fact still live! Consumed by real life mostly. But, I've also been working on something. Something super secret. So secret I can't talk about it. In fact, you didn't hear this from me.

For those of you interested in reviewing or playtesting an Alien Legion World Book, you can get a copy here:

http://www.aroooo.com/rpg_stuff/super_secret_files/alien_legion_0.6.pdf

This is not for general internet distribution yet. First of all, its not complete, but its mostly there. Second, I still need to get permission from Carl to let it out there. But its at a point where we've been play testing in my group, and I need other opinions. So, grab a copy, give it a read, and give me feedback - on the boards or off works for me.

Looks pretty good from a general overview ... Planning on including any other Alien packages? Also, any specialty packages for the Legionaires planned?

Yes to more species packages. I don't know if I'll do job specialities though. The comics focused on the ground pounders. In my playtest games I've just run the ship's crew and such as vague NPCs, and left the game focus at the squad level.

Good point ... just thought there was even some specialties in the pounders as well ... like Docs, Officiers, etc.

I can certainly do some MOS packages like combat medic and such. And an officer package is not asking too much.
