Weirdness Magnet
Infrequent, Greatly: 10 Points
Type: Social
Description: Strange things happen to and around this character. This is not a truly threatening Disadvantage, but it is a continuous nuisance. The character constantly finds himself dealing with odd circumstances and (relatively) odd people. New-Agers and Psychics tend to encounter the character with incredibly frequency, oddball pairs of FBI Agents searching for the truth bump into him on a daily basis, and so on. The reasons for the character having this Disadvantage are up to the player.

Physical lim for me. Uncommon, greatly limiting.

I disagree. PhyLims are for something the character can't do. What does being a Weirdness Magnet prevent the character from doing? Nothing.

I generally agree with the notion that the most appropriate expression is in the form of a social limitation. 10 Points seems to fit.

I think this is generally best done as a social limitation but, it depends on the effect you are after - I am happy to use physical limitation to model something a character has no choice about doing, as well as something they can not do.
Example: Magnetic - attracts metal objects (Physical Limitation, common, inconvenient)
Freak magnet - attracts strange people and situations...

I see your point, and I don't think we're very far apart.

Absolutely - it is just fine tuning to exactly what you want at that level ;)

I think a die or two or Unluck might be fitting, apart from the SocLim.

A hunted seems too much for this; I'd go for 1d6 Unluck.

That's the great thing - one idea, many ways to realise it :)
