Read the blurb on the site. So, it's a post apocalyptic setting. What are some of the things that make it groovy? Sci Fi elements, Fantasy elements, or ...?

To me it's the alt history of Ragnarok actually getting underway that looks cool. I've been looking forward Tao this since it was announced.

The snake brings the awesome, yes, but I love the little details. President Earl Warren is struggling to keep the US together despite Texas seceding and Utah half out the door. Stalin's Man-Apes threaten the world's security, and Deros are building death-rays in the Colombian jungles, and a modern-day Thoth-Amon is rising to power in Egypt in the shadow of a hundreds-of-miles-high snake corpse. Plus references to Dr. Who, Quatermass, Steve Canyon and piles of other pulpy hooks for GMs to get their hooks into. dw

It's good to see that Ken has incorporated plenty of real-world occurrences too... just to keep things suitably uncertain. When the players are unsure about which elements of a storyline are real and which are fictional, it keeps them from getting too comfy in their suspension of disbelief... ;)

I mean, you did know that the Deros are building death-rays in the Colombian jungles, right...?
