Has anybody done any work on converting the old TSR "Gangbusters!" materials, particularly the game modules, into Hero System?

I have the five original modules but not the Gangbusters! rulebook so it is kind of hard to figure out what all of the stat abbreviations mean.

try researching TSR in the web and maybe you can find the meaning of the abbreviations

As far as I know not publically. For more information about Gangbusters you can read the designer's original note at his blog site here: Bloody 20s (http://bloody20s.blogspot.com/). Start with his June 13 postings.

Theres also a nice summary here at RPGnet forums: [Gangbusters] Can someone give me a quick breakdown? (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=462385)

A great, under-appreciated game for its day.

Other than these, what do you need to know?

If you're looking for the full terms for NPCs stated-out in the modules, this might help:

MS = Muscle
AG = Agility
OB = Observation
PR = Presence
DR = Driving
LK = Luck
HP = Hit Points

The attributes are D100-based, but not all of them are generated the same way. (Anything more specific I'll help with if I can.)

Flavor-wise, Gangbusters is more of a Dark Champions game that happens to take place during the same time period.

I'll pull out my books for Gangbusters at some point and try to help also.

By a lucky chance my FLGS had a used copy of the Gangbusters stuff so I picked up the lot dirt cheap. Thanks to everyone for their help though.
