Could you summon an Automaton that's not Slavishly Loyal and make control rolls based on, say, a default EGO 10?

Particularly if not, could you summon an AI that's not Slavishly Loyal, since it has an EGO anyway?

If the GM's willing to allow that, sure -- but the Automaton's EGO score should probably be proportional to its power level in some fashion, otherwise it becomes too unbalancing. Even with higher EGO scores it presents the potential of unbalancing the game.
