Looking for Pasadena/San Gabriel players or group?

I'm new to the game, looking to hook up with some players or a group in the Pasadena/San Gabriel area of LA county - CA.

I'm having the hardest time finding players in my area.

there is a group that plays at Caltech in pasadena every Saturday nightat 7pm
sometimes that will be there as early as 2pm to play board games
I'm with this group part time as I work at the 2 biggest Ren faires here in California
right now I'm up in northern California on the weekends and will not be back till mid October

right now there are 2 games running 1 is a pirate fantasy hero game
the other is super hero game based in Detroit

we are using 5th ed revised rules(no changing to 6th ed in the anytime soon if ever)
