See, I thought at first you'd found this (http://kynghistory.ky.gov/KYNG+in+Art/Other/3rd+Tank+Window+1962.htm?&pageOrder=0&selectedPic=3) or this (http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/server/show/nav.14374/chosenImageId/2) or the image near the bottom of this page (http://www.buildingconservation.com/articles/lestweforget/lestweforget.htm).

There's at least one more stained-glass church window image featuring a tank, though I'm having problems finding it at the moment....

Gives a whole jnew meaning to the term "Church Militant", I'd say.

And Ninja-Bear, that was a really bad joke. :thumbdown

The sudden breaking hurricane of shells lights up the sky and smashes the front lines before fading away. The shellshocked defenders looking up --is it a feint of fire, or is the Big One coming down? Then, through the night ring the cathedral bells.

The tanks are coming.

I think I posted stats for this beast to Surbrooks page, if not, I will dig them up

I think I called it the XM-28 Bully Pullpit

theres a slightly different version I have seen that had a minnaret style spire, which gave the perfect excuse to fit it with an Apache Style MW radar

And the picture doesn't even show the driver armed with Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!

It's the official Armored Vehicle of the new Knights Templar.

The one on my page is an M-1A1, this looks Russian.

I want to make a character sheet for the M1A1 and place it in a PAH setting.

I wonder if the Salvation Army has any like that ? And how much more would their donations go up at Christmas if the bell ringers were standing next to one ?

I don't recall anyone saying it isn't, Ms Green. When you've been here a bit, you'll understand how these threads work. :D

And it's good to have another newbie onboard. :)

The Vatican's newest secret weapon I presume.

Seriously though, how fast can the thing go? And isn't it a bit top heavy?

Well, it's a model, so it's not going anywhere... On the other hand, it's fairly wide, so balance might not be much of an issue.

I half suspected the thing was a model, it just looked too good, should have looked closer.

As for balance, imagine the thing trying to drive on a 30 degree slope, the thing would just tip over.

The thing's pretty, just not practical.

Well, if it was real, it would be a propaganda piece, not a war machine.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking.

If this tank was set in the warhammer 40k world, you can bet that it would be workable. Surprised they haven't made a model like this yet.

They've come close. The Sister of Battle have something akin to this, IIRC.

That's been upgraded to the Holy Grenade Launcher of Antioch!

Randall Flagg did it again! Co-opted the Fundies good this time! However, good luck turning the turret.
