Kids have made it challenging for me to run or play in a tabletop game as my wife and I both work full time and are on oppsite schedules. Because of this, I turned to Herocentral for my gaming fix but Herocentral became blocked at work shortly after I joined. My kids mostly dominate my home comp when they are awake leaving me only late nights to play.

Recently, a groups of friends in similar situations got back into WoW and asked me to join them. While I am not a huge WoW fan; Ventrilo allows us to chat, insult eathother, and generally feel like we are hanging out instead of typing massive amounts of text. It occured to me the other night, I think Ventrilo would also be great for Champions!

While a site like Herocentral would be great place for the everyone to store character sheets, pass out materials, and roll dice; voice chat would make the game run much faster than a pure PbP (play by post). My question is this, has anyone tried or is currently doing this with Ventrilo or another voice chat program?

We use Vent for playing MMO's.

We use Skype and Stickam for tabletop gaming.

In theory, we could just be using Stickam, but from what I understood John was having a problem with no mic (iirc) on the camera or insufficient gain on the mic.
