Hello all,

After I updated my windows version, I took the new Herodesigner jar and used it to replace the old Jar and update in the Mac Package.

I have to say one thing about this. WOW!

There is still the issue with quitting the application instead of using exit, but if you click the close box. The program asks if you want to save your character.

The interface elements that have problems in version 1.x all work fine in 2.x. So far the problem with a dead clone of a closed window hasn't cropped up either.

If you delete the appPrefs.xml file, then the program uses the default Aqua interface elements. Which work completely well.

I can't wait until the release version.

Now back to testing. BTW I am also testing it in Windows XP Home Ed.

Thanks Tasha!
That's great news for those of us in the Good Empire.

You don't actually have to delete the appPrefs.xml file to use the aqua interface. You can use a text editor to open the appPrefs.xml file and edit the value of SKIN to "none" (or any invalid value) and get the same result.

This has the advantage of keeping your other prefs intact.

Keep in mind, though, that this is not an intended feature and could go away with the next (or any other) update.
