View Full Version : Bug? Martial arts: bogus duplicate assignment warning

I'm creating a heroic-level character with martial arts. I assigned him Martial Throw, and then when I assigned Martial Strike I got a warning pop-up saying I'd already assigned Martial Strike. (I hadn't.)
The effect is repeatable.

Please do the following:
1. Pull down the update from the HD site...it won't increment your version at all, but it will make sure that we're working on the same page.
2. Post detailed steps that you take to make this happen. I just created a new character and bought Martial Thrown and Martial Strike without a problem. I also tried buying them in a List -- still no warning/problem.

Hmmm..... OK, now it's not doing it.
For what it's worth, what I did the first time around was:
o) Start HD (v.2.0.22)
i) Start new character
ii) Load campaign rules (nothing special there except to change the starting points to 100/50 and to allow equipment use)
iii) Select characteristics, skills, perks, talents, and finally martial arts
iv) Selected martial Throw by double-clicking
v) Selected Martial Strike by double-clicking
That's when the bogus warning popped up. The same thing happened with a blank character in the same session of HD, but *not* after reloading update.jar and restarting HD.

If it happens again (now that you've loaded in the update), let me know.
