I really like the idea of putting the stop-sign and warning sign graphics in the various lists.

However, I really don't like the appearance of the current graphics. They clash big-time with the rest of the UI. Is it just me?

I second the stop-sign and warning-sign graphics. GREAT touch.

As for the interface some of the new skins aren't bad, but I really don't like any of them. I wouldn't go so far as to say they clash. I do wish there were more choices and I wish I could ge a handle around the idea of how to make skins.

The skins are no longer user-customizable.

The skinning software that I was using under v1 was causing too many issues and was too big of a drain on resources, so I axed it.

The new skins are all full Java Look and Feels. As I find more that are usable, I'll add them into the list.

Cool.
I didn't know about the non-user customizablilty in ver2, but it really didn't matter since I could never do it and didn't see many people beating a path to use it.

Hey Geoff,
When are we going to see some of your wonderful ver2 Export templates? (hint, hint) :)

Probably sometime after I start upgrading the export process for v2...inserting new tags, etc.

It's one of the next things on my list, but it hasn't been done yet...

What he said...I haven't really bothered yet because I know lots of new stuff is coming. I will definitely be updating the existing templates, and I definitely want to create a group sheet as well.

A Group Sheet would be very useful.

I was wondering, what is Character Packaging? I saw that it would create an .hdz file.

Character packaging saves the character, its template (I think) and its associated image in a zip file with a .hdz extension. It is a v1 feature and is described in the documentation.
