Strange Language Quirk

Several Languages in the scroll down menu are not given a point break under the Linguist Skill Enhancer. These Languages also do not display the Active Point totals like the others do.

The ones I have discovered are Arabic, English, Japanese, Korean, and Swahili.

Because you have "use Language Familiarity Chart" turned on under Campaign Rules.

HD is applying a 1-point penalty for any Language which you do not have at least a 1-point Familiarity with, according to the chart.

You should always be sure that you define your Native Language when you are using the Language Familiarity Chart....it's very important in avoiding those 1-point penalties.

The Campaign Rules section will undoubtedly be growing over time....I've worked in the ones which I felt were necessary/useful to get things started. As other rules come up, I can look into adding them into the screens (though I want to avoid making them too all-encompassing and complicated).
