Hi Hero Gang: If you have not seen this deal at RPGNow you should take a look...1400 PDF products for a $20 donation to Haiti. These are great products too! Fred's blog post (http://www.deadlyfredly.com/2010/01/midnight-post-help-haiti-get-1400-free/) has the details...my gosh. :)

The palindromedary has been stunned by the bad news out of Haiti. This is bad even for Haiti, and Haiti is a disaster at the best of times.

I've already got a few things on the list, but heck, it's still a great deal from a greedy capitalist point of view. The humanitarian aspect is just a bonus.

they are doing a good work also:
As of this press release, DriveThruRPG has collected well over $56,000,
which will be going to Doctors Without Borders for their efforts in Haiti
and the Dominican Republic. The "Gamers Help Haiti $20 Mega Bundle" will be
available until January 31st. that's 5 points of wealth, took one week (-1)

The most exciting thing for me is the cardboard minis. Way back in the day I painted and sculpted like most people. I no longer have the space or the desire. The BBB screen came with those minis and I've been in love ever since. We tend to use Clix in our current game, but Clix are always a bit larger than the hexmap which has, at times, caused a bit of difficulty. This package includes a LOT of cardboard minis.
I'm not necessarily sure how much of the rest of it actually holds interest for me, but I'm sure I'll sift through there and find something else I like.

Now hopefully this will last until tomorrow so I can participate. I'll toss the donation in anyhow, but cool stuff is always a nice incentive.

Seven Leagues is a pretty interesting looking game. I got a (somewhat incomplete) PDF of it for free a couple of years back because I had bought stuff from Malcontent previously. It definitely rewards the ability to make up evocative descriptions on the fly.

I'm hoping it's still up when I have $20, which should be the start of next week.
Did Hero Games contribute any products to the bundle? Were they even asked?

The Haitian Situation is not going back to normal for some time (not even what passes for normal in Haiti.)
Perhaps they'll have another bundle and invite other contributors to provide product. I'd say this has been a very successful fundraiser.
