They Changed It Now It Sucks (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheyChangedItNowItSucks) - Sixth Edition. Dear god, Sixth Edition. However, the "beef" with the system wasn't explained in full, so I would appreciate someone explain this to me.

It is a post ironic commentary on the nature of change and the small 'c' conservatism of most established groups.
i shouldn't worry about it is I were you.

There is no "beef", as Sean suggests (I think...) if you click through to the They Changed It Now It Sucks (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheyChangedItNowItSucks) page, you'll see that they're mocking people who say that. As such, it's taking a poke at some of the die hard 5e(r) fans who complain about 6e.

They're making fun of people who don't like how something was changed? Good thing that would never happen around here.

Uh oh, my Sarcasm-Meter is on the fritz again, so I can't discern the intent of your post :(.

No.
It's making fun of people who don't like That there was even a change at all.
Not those who don't like what was changed.

You really need the rugged version of the sarcasm meter for around here. Even then, make sure you have one that can deal with a sudden sarcasm surge since you don't want to have to keep getting new ones.

I see they credit Dr. Silverback to David Mattingly when it should go to Darren Watts.

They also claim that FRED refers to 5th Edition, Revised, as well as a number of misconceptions and confused references to incorrect editions, mixed references to different editions, etc.
I could make a long list of errors, but I don't care that much right now. :)

No, they revised that with 6th Edition. :)

Well, it is a Wiki. Input is based on what the editor thinks is correct.

More to the point, it is a Wiki. If you find mistakes you can fix them yourself with approximately the same amount of effort it takes to complain about them. Unless changing it would make it suck.

I've considered registering to edit things on TV Tropes... but my time is crowded enough as it is.

You don't even really need to register. Basically when you go to login it tells you the password to use and you just pick whatever username.

It is the Max Von Sydow factor.
