I recently did a brief interview with a website called PaperDragonInk. You can find it in the "current issue" available on the main page if you'd like to take a gander. ;)

Nice interview, thanks for posting Steve. :)

The Yearling, sounds like an Australian I'm familiar with: Storm Boy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_Boy_%28novel%29); about an outcast boy who looks after a wild pelican. I have some specific familiarity with (excuse the story):

About 25 years ago at our beach house (part of a community) a young (http://www.rhsa.org.au/rhsaawards.htm) lady* (http://nla.gov.au/nla.cs-pa-http%253A%252F%252Fhdl.handle.net%252F10070%252F73 58) rescued and nursed a pelican's broken wing. For a few years after-wards the pelican would fly back from the nearby island to the mainland I'd imagine to say "thank you". Somewhere I've got a picture of myself with the pelican (pictures posted here (http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php/35976-Neat-Pictures?p=1978691#post1978691)) whom we named after the pelican in Storm Boy. *I've met her and as the links show, she rescued a man from a crocodile, she was about 12 at the time, but I'm more fond of the pelican.

And of course you can juggle, isn't that what you do with the schedule Mr Hero System Line Developer, juggle the books as needed to when they're published? :) :)
