Default Rules System

Is it possible to either modify the default rules profile, or set a different profile to load with an hdc.

It appears that the Hero System rules load up automatically with every character, and I have to then change the rules associated with the character to make the points display correctly.

Why is the Language Familiarity Chart enabled by default for Hero System rules? Fred pg. 43 labels this as an optional rule.

I'll be changing things in the not too distant future so that the system remembers the last rule set loaded and uses that until another one is set.

As for the Language Familiarity Chart, it's turned on by default because both Steve and I like it.
