I'm new to the area, and was hoping to find some others wanting to game. I'm not really a "supers" type of gamer, however I'm feinding to play so bad I'll go for anything at the moment. I've also applied to several other boards/ site's and waiting for replies. I play most any games, and do prefer Hero for modern/ sci-fi. I'm 27, male, and... well hope to see some replies.

How ya doing?
Welcome to the Valley. Where are you from Originaly?
I run a Champions game here in Mesa. It's a large game right now, but Like I aways say there is room if you "Fit in" with the curent group.
Also there are some other games going on around town, and I'd suggest that you head over to Game Depote (480-966-4727) on McClintock & Southern in Mesa to take a look at the board there, as well as patronize a really Great Game store.

If your interested in my game check out my Website http://www.energy-blast.com/champions/champ_main.htm or drop me a mail @ vesbin@cox.net

I was just there about half and hour ago, and saw some papers as I was heading out. Something about a Magic game and a few hero clicks. One on D&D (kalamar). However didn't see a bord. I may just be blind.
Other than that I have originally come from Ohio, Where I was pretty much raised (I was born here in Phoenix). Due to the horrable job situation, and my lack of training (4 years Army, Infantry, Airborne dosn't leave you much that you can do on the outside), I have ended up comming out here to live with my dad.
I have been gaming for.... 17 years, and GMing 10 of those years. I have been my group's main GM/DM for pretty much all of those 10 years (4 year break from Army) and then here, where I, as you put in your homepage, need release my creative juces.
My Champions knowledge is rusty to say the least, I last ran "heroic" campaigns out of 4th ed. And bought the 5th ed at Origins last year. However today while I was at Game Depot I bought the Star Hero, and Ultimate Vehicle, to start to work on my Military (SF)/ siencefiction game I've been running in champions (4th) for... 8 years (on and off).
that's a little about me.

Wolf,
Sorry I took so long to get back to you, been busy.
I'm from Cali originaly, but have fam back in Ohio (Sandusky on Lake Erie) I know what you mean about the military (infantry espec) giving one little in the way of Civilian world skills (4 yrs+ USMC 0311 Ground Pounding Infantrayman) But you probably already knew that since you visited my website.

Anyway, have you found a game yet? If your interested I have spot open in my game. It is Supers, but I think I can help you adapt if you need help, or a buddy of mine is looking to start up a Heroic Star Hero game... Based loosely on Battlestar Galactica. I't not meant to be a full blow campaign (to start) more of a filler on weeks that I might not be ready to run the game or just to give me a break.

Let me know.

When do you play? I wanted to know due to a Deadlands game that I might be in on Sundays, and my weekdays are questionable, being I work contracting, so some months I'm out of work all month, sometimes I'm out for two, then in a week I only have weekends off for 3 months, you know.
However I would love to play in a champions game, it is one system I feel that really has alot of levels, and you can always learn something about it. In whatever genre.
My e-mail is rine_gold@yahoo.com, if you wish to mail me to continue this, that would be cool.
