ACV and Mental Combat

Hi Steve -

If a character has a Power bought with ACV such that it uses OMCV in place of OCV, can/should they use that Power at their EGO instead of their DEX when determining order of actions in the Phase (as described under Mental Combat on 6E2 page 39)? Or does that rule only apply to "real" Mental Powers? Thanks! :)

If a power fits the “Simulating Mental Powers” guidelines on 6E1 326 and the GM declares that it’s treated as a “Mental Power,” then you should use the character’s EGO, not his DEX, to determine when his Phase occurs in a Segment. Otherwise, use his DEX as usual.
