View Full Version : Question: Rules Consolidation

After reading both Star Hero and the Until Super powers book, I noticed that there were several additions to existing powers, not to mention new skills, etc. Plus, I would imagine that there will be similar additional information in the Fantasy book and other new source book you put out.
My question is: Are there any plans to consolidate the new power/skill/etc rules in a future product so that it isn't necessary to purchase all of the source books to get them?
Thanks

There are no specific plans to create a product simply to "consolidate" any such new rules.
If and when we publish a revised 5E, the ones I deem worth of inclusion in the core rulebook will be included in it, though.

FWIW -- a compilation of new rules from the various sourcebooks (Ultimate, genre, et al) is one of the main things I'd expect in the Hero System Almanac I've been mentioning (and hoping for....) ;)

If not an actual Almanac (which I agree would be a cool thing, but I accept if you don't think you'll be ready for one for a while), would an article in Digital Hero with some of the new rules be possible?
A 5E revision is doubtless years away, and something sooner than that would be helpful.

I consolidated all of the rules that have been mentioned in the FAQ into a thread on the Hero System board -- a simple search should turn it up.

If you want to send it to me Ill post it on my website for easy access, or perhaps Dave Mattingly would put it up on the eHERO site, or perhaps some other regular would throw it up on their site....

Here it is...post elsewhere as you see fit, but only if you include the whole thing (the stuff at the front is particularly important!).
