Strength, martial arts and HA

OK, so say I buy nerve strike which does 2d6. I buy HA AVAD through a focus to up the nerve strike to 3d6. Can I use Strength to up the HA another 1d6 or is it assumed to be part of the martial maneuver?

Assuming the GM would allow you to buy an HA AVAD to add to Nerve Strike damage in the first place, no, you can’t also add STR. By definition you can’t use STR to improve a Nerve Strike, which makes improving it with an HA dubious at best and improving it with actual STR, even indirectly via HA, illegal under the rules.
