I guess someone has to ask this every few months: How is HERO doing? How many copies of FREd have sold? What about the supplements? Can some numbers be made public?
The whole "HERO in color" discussion got me thinking about this. I know HERO is a niche within a niche hobby, but how "nichey" are we? I know RPG.net is sort fo a lousy barometer for this kind of query, but HERO discussion on their forums seems to be getting fairly commonplace.

Well, we keep specifics about money and units sold to ourselves because we are a privately held company with outside investors.
OTOH, I can say with confidence that Hero is doing fine, our market share is increasing slowly but steadily, and sometime in the next month or two we'll have to go back for a FOURTH print run on 5th Ed, which has so far been out for eleven months.
Comics and Games Retailer, which does a highly unscientific survey of game stores every month, last month had us ranked #9 overall among game publishers by units sold among reporting stores in November. FWIW.

Hey, I'm trying to bring Hero up to #1 where it belongs! It's tough beating back those D20 zombies! And I've tried everything from shotguns to calling on the Dark Powers <tm>! :D
Long live HERO!
