Hi all!
I just picked up Urban Fantasy it is my only 5th editon book - all the other books I have are 6th editon (I am new to the system).

I wanted to add vampires and werewolves to my proposed Champions game so very quickly is there much conversion I need to do - to do this?

Can I take the Vampire template and just add it to a character or to I have to tweak it?

Any suggestions or advice would be great!

There is remarkably little effort to convert 5e (or even 1e) to 6e Hero. You'll need to adjust the point costs of any Templates, and there may be powers where there is a more straightforward way to build it under 6e. It should be fairly straightforward, though.

Watch out for any template that adds STR, CON, DEX, EGO or BOD. With figured characteristics, these added other stats in 5e that you may need to add directly for 6e. The Figured formulas were:

- STR added 1 PD per 5 STR, 1 REC per 5 STR and 1 STUN per 2 STR
- CON added 1 ED per 5 CON, 1 REC per 5 CON, 2 END per 1 CON and 1 STUN per 2 CON.
- BOD added 1 STUN for each BOD
- DEX added 0.1 SPD per 1 DEX, 1 OCV per 3 DEX and 1 DCV per 3 DEX
- EGOadded 1 OMCV per 3 EGO and 1 DMCV per 3 EGO

CV's were not separate stats in 6e, so it was common to buy up DEX solely for CV, and sometimes EGO solely for MCV. You could consider buying up only the CV, and leaving DEX alone, if you view the creature as combat-capable rather than agile and dextrous.
