Launcher Problem with 2.0.32

Tried to load up the new update. Said there was a launcher problem and to restart HED. HD will not come up at all now.

Sorry Says launcher proporty has change, but then will not restart.

Also, don't know if it;s related or not but the update was a smaller file than the last update 2.27m to 2.24m

The message that pops up says it all: HD has updates the launcher file and you will need to restart. It will get you halfway (shutting itself down), you need to restart the app, however.

The changes to the launcher file are part of the optimizations that I had mentioned in the update announcement....some parameters that needed to be set on the JVM.

The update is smaller because of some other optimizations that have been run (in part, obfuscating and shrinking the class files).

I got the same error. Now it won't load at all. I restarted and it still won't launch.

First off, it's not an error. It's just an information dialog that I put in which tells you why HD is going to shut down. It will only happen once (when HD updates the launcher file).

What is happening when you try to restart it? Do you get an error dialog of any kind? Is there anything in your trace.log file?

Gah! Nevermind....I found the problem. I coulda sworn I had removed that parameter from the new launcher....

There's a parameter that is being inserted which causes "issues" with some of the JVMs that are running HD.

I'll have a patch up (very) shortly.
