Ok, I think I've asked this before but I'll ask again, can you have a variable limitation on your MP and fixed limitations on it's slots?
E.g.

MP - 40 points -1/2 variable limitations (-1/4) = 32 real
MP slot 8d6 blast 6 charges (-1/2) = 5 real
MP slot Barrier 7m x 3m x 1/2m thick 10/10 rPD/rED Concentration 0 DCV (-1/2) = 5 real

Since the multipower does have the limitation applied to every slot (every slot has to have at least -1/2 limitations on it and it does) and each slot has it's own limitations applied to it this should be OK yes? I ask because Killer Shrike interpreted (http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php/82050-question-about-multipower-magic-pools)the rules this way and I have a vague feeling when I asked last time the official word was this is wrong.

I’m going to rephrase your question to make sure I’m understanding what you’re asking. If I haven’t grasped what you’re after, please post a follow-up and I’ll try again. ;)

Q: Can a character who has at least X value worth of Limitations on each slot in a Power Framework take a Variable Limitations Limitation of that same value on the reserve/Pool of the Power Framework? Or, to approach the situation from a different angle, could a character take Variable Limitation on the reserve/Control Cost of a Power Framework (so that it has to apply to each slot), and then just assign the same Limitation to each slot every time?

A: No. Aside from the rules on 6E1 407 that discuss varying Limitations on Power Frameworks in certain contexts (mainly the common “collection of OAFs Multipower” situation), as noted on 6E1 401 a Limitation on all the slots in a Framework has to be the same for a character to also take that Limitation on the reserve/Control Cost. Trying to use Variable Limitation to get around that restriction directly violates that rule in both letter and spirit.

Now of course, it's the GM's game -- if he wants to allow it, the Gaming Police probably aren't going to kick down his door and drag him away in leg irons. ;)
