[Bestiary] Published critters vs. average specimens

Hi Steve,

How do the published creatures compare to average members of their species? Do they tend to be average, a little better, a lot better, something else?

I would consider them average, but each GM is welcome to make up his own mind or tweak 'em as he sees fit to suit his own needs, views, opinions, and research.
