Is Hero Resource Kit still valid?

I was thinking about buying the Hero Resource kit but noted that it was released in 2002. Is this product still valid for 6E? I mainly want it for the GM Screen.

The only rule change that really affects the usefulness of the screen itself is the abolition of the HERO Hex equaling 1" or 2 meters. 6e just deals in meters now (6" Running is now referred to as 12m Running).
