Experience Points Disadvantage

I was reading through Ninja Hero recently and noticed some of the characters had Experience Points as a disadvantage. I don't remember seeing anything in the Hero rule book on this where have I missed the info on this. And Ninja Hero is an excellent book BTW.

That's to account for the extra points needed to build them above and beyond their Disadvantages. It's listed that way in Champions, CU, CKC, the HSB, and the other books we've done, too.
