The error message should include the name of the item (if it has one), so it's easy to find.

I'm also thinking that some sort of cumulative report that you could copy and/or save would be very useful; I hate having to remember all of these items.

What I'm thinking about doing along this line is to have any abilities that have been altered by the validation process flagged in red text in the purchase list until you open them for edit.

I will hopefully have this feature implemented for the forthcoming update.

I liked the red text. It was easy to find the errors!
