Champions Universe:Empyreans

A very interesting homage to Marvel's Eternals, but sketchy, could have used an example character. Crooks and Crusaders has an example of their evil (Deviant) counterparts the Lemurians. I'm very interested in using the Empyreans, does anyone know of any upcoming plans to detail more information about them? Informed speculation is also welcome.

My guess is (having seen the 2004-05 schedule) that if there is going to be any more information on them it would have to come from either A: a Digital Hero article or B: maybe one or two of them might be exampled in Battlegrounds (have no idea here; just wild speculation).

I like the race as well and look forward to seeing more about them in the future.

The Empyreans will eventually be featured in a proposed Champions setting book, tentatively called "Lost Worlds" or something like that, which isn't on the pub schedule yet. I'd like to see it in '05, but we haven't got a firm schedule that far out. However, there are plans afoot to use some of the characters and setting before that, so keep watching the skies. (Also, another Lemurian villain, Leviathan, appeared in an issue of Digital Hero, and more Empyreans may show up there eventually because I'm awful fond of them.) dw

Many thanks, a very informative response and a good reason to save my sheckels. I can feel my resistance to signing up for Digital Hero weakening....:)
Hero Games has made me a very happy camper, it's been my favorite system since the late 80s and for awhile there I thought I would never see any new products on the shelves again. This Lost Worlds thing sounds like just my cup of tea.
