How do you determine damage for using objects?

For instance, if I decide to use a huge boulder to throw at a enemy, how do I determine how much damage it does? Also, how about just swinging it at him?

For throwing, check out the Rules FAQ under "Strength." For using it as a weapon, see 5E 302. In either case, it pretty much boils down to: your dice of STR damage or a number of dice of damage equal to the object's DEF+BODY, whichever is less.
