does anyone know where to find a chart that shows attribute conversions from one game system to another???

It would help if we knew which system(s) you want to convert attributes from. I'm assuming you want to convert them to HERO, of course. ;)

All right, to start with, here are a couple of websites dealing with Star Wars/ HERO conversions. The first link is to a simple attribute chart for converting SW D6 and D20 to HERO, while the second is a much more extensive conversion of abilities, technology etc. :

BTW, "any other systems out there" covers a lot of territory. Conversions from other game systems are a favorite passtime for many HERO gamers. For example, here's a link to conversion from GURPS (emphasising GURPS Supers, but widely applicable):

I'm personally aware of sizeable conversions that have been done for Shadowrun, RIFTS, and the old Marvel and DC Superheroes roleplaying games, although they may or may not be too extensive for you. My suggestion would be to input the name of the system you're interested in into the "Search" function at the top of this page and see what comes up. Also, if you have Google or another search engine, try searching the web by enclosing terms in quotation marks, like this: "star wars" "hero system". That's how I found the Star Wars links above. :)

Ok let me ask this then....
what would the proper phrase be to find the conversion from Cyberpunk 2020 to Hero or d20 modern to hero?

I found this to convert Cyberpunk to Fuzion. From there it's not too far off from Hero. The cyberware would have to be built as powers in Hero, but Surbrook's Stuff has some good ideas in that regard, or his Kazei 5 PDF supplement may (or may not) be available on this site still.

I didn't find anything for d20 Modern conversions to Hero. Might just be a dearth of those at the moment, b/c people see that as an either/or choice. However, d20 Modern is essentially d20 any way you slice it, so stats, skills (those should be easy) and Feats should convert closely enough if you can find a d20 (non-modern?) conversion. Some feats are going to be differnt, but you should be able to either wing them or get help converting them here on the board.
