If I had a character with Discrimanatory on touch, would I be able to read the type off paper by touching the words themselves?

I've always viewed Discriminatory Touch as the 'Daredevil effect'. I even seem to recall that back in the old days (before Enhanced senses were so modular) that it was defined exactly that way (and Discriminatory Taste would allow you to pretty much define the ingredients in whatever you tasted, etc.)

If I was able to feel the raised ink (like on an embossed invitation) then with disc, I would be able to read it as if I could see it..(sight has disc). So , to "feel" the ink on the paper, would I need microscopic on touch, perhaps?

Yes, unless it was laminated or printed with offset printing, like a glossy magazine where every square inch of paper had a roughly even layer of ink on it. (just different colors)

I really like the effect microscopic on touch sense would make but I don't think you would need that just to read print from a press or handwritten material. Microscopic on touch sense... that REALLY sounds cool!
